Haven's Port Focus Poll - September

As I mentioned in yesterday's Progress Report, the nature of the Focus Poll vote for the next Haven's Port build means I need to run it early. Specifically since all build content will be focused on the winning option.

That said, the poll is a straightforward one. Do you want to see me focus on farther building up Jerta Island (including introducing the final round of Fleet Faction quests). Or would you prefer that I turned my attention to the Order of the Rose's faction island, Rose Garden.

In the case of Jerta island, we'd see an expansion of the content in each area. With every current location getting 2-3 additional scenes. Then, on top of that, the longer and more involved scenes needed to move upward again in the Fleet Faction would be introduced. Hopefully, all of those quests/missions/encounters would make it into the build. But, as they are longer and more involved, it's always possible I won't get every one of them in. As they are meant to be three separate paths to the same end goal, however, I don't technically need to get them all into one update. The major upside of this choice is that it's a big step towards the closest thing Haven's Port will ever have to an 'ending.' Such endings won't close out the game, or disable any other actions. But they will serve the purpose of providing a satisfying close to the overall 'story,' (such as it is) without closing out the free roam option. Note the actual endings themselves will be in other updates, this would just put us very close to the Fleet Faction 'ending' being available.

Introducing Rose Garden, on the other hand, will/would essentially be the same sort of treatment that Jerta got in the previous build. In essence, it would introduce the unique features of Rose Garden (at least one additional dateable character, geisha style companion training, shibari style bondage and other more 'seduction' based options), to much the same level that the Jerta intro build did. That is to say, all of the major options will be present, but there won't/wouldn't be a great deal of depth to them just yet. 

So that's in, those are the options!
