Haven's Port (Build 15) - Public Release
Added 2022-08-02 01:24:40 +0000 UTCAlright! With the release of Build 16 for $5+ Patrons yesterday, it's also time to get Build 15 out of Public consumption!
Now, as to the release itself. It was a slightly smaller than a usual Haven's Port release. But only sort of. The scene count, coming in at only 14 new scenes, was a little low. My normal target is a minimum of 15 scenes with an ideal goal being as close to 20 as possible. However, in this case, scene count very much wasn't the whole story. Because I was focused on wrapping up major content threads for the Main Island, six of those scenes are Dates, which are longer and more involved than regular scenes. Likewise, two of them are new Arena fights and aftermath, which are about the same size as a date.
That means that the total render count for the build was 91 new renders. Which is...actually about average. Normal scenes average 3-5 renders only, so even at a max of 5x20, an 'ideal' 20 scene build would only be about 100 renders. Net result? Scene counts are a terrible way to judge build size, but all other ways are also kinda terrible too. I'd guesstimate the total content to actually be about average for a Haven's Port build. I could just be justifying that to make myself feel better. But I don't think so. Either way, I'm reasonably happy with the build personally, so hopefully everyone likes it. And I'll...stop rambling now.

Web Build NOTE: Unless you're using Safari, I highly recommend the compressed version. It's WEBP not JPG, so there's no real quality loss and it will load a lot smoother with less bandwidth use. Safari users...Apple are giant dicks and won't add native support for WEBP despite it being adopted by literally every other other major browser. So if you absolutely can't bring yourself to use another browser, you're stuck with the Full version. It's basically uploaded just for you guys.

Build 15 release notes
Build 15 focuses on rounding out content for both the Port and Main Island. It includes several new dates, as well as adding some more lesbian-oriented content to the early game. In this build are:
-3 New Dates for Fiona
-3 New Dates for Louie
-2 New Arena Matches (and hookup options afterward with your opponents)
-3 New Options for the Early-Game Glory hole (All Lesbian)
-1 New Lesbian variant for the Jolly Rodger Job (Menu+ Shift)
- 2 Chastity Enabled Events on the Port Island
- Added a 'bypass' option to Captain Temlin's scene when you first become a resident, allowing you to skip having sex with her if that's not something you want. This was always supposed to be an option, as far as I remember, but apparently I never implemented it? Not sure what happened there, but someone alerted me to it.
-Added a hint of sorts for the Order of the Rose Faction content. Once you meet the requirements, the Brothel Mistress will stop you the next time you visit her, alerting you that you should come to speak with her if you want to fully join the order.
-Many, many bug fixes. A lot of them in the early game, a few more regarding passing time during arena events.
