Progress Report/ Poll Results/Various

----------------------

Reminder! The polls to determine which game will follow up Chastity Quest are underway! There are polls for both the Public and Patrons Only. Make sure you vote!

----------------------

With that out of the way, the next thing I want to do is publicly thank a specific Patron. In response to my comment about wanting to make the next game as professional as possible, PapaModine did something that genuinely amazed me, donating well beyond the amount of the highest tier I provide, without asking for anything at all in return. Well, nothing beyond what I'm already doing, at least ;-). Thank you again PapaModine! What you donated will REALLY help in getting the next game off the ground with the best assets possible!

------------------------

Now! Onto the actual progress report and poll results. First, I'm going to keep the poll results short. Here they are.

August Story Poll results were in this order:

1st - Andrea of the Silver Key (Part 4)

2nd - Galactic Nomad

3rd - Mass Effect: Final Error

4th - The Long Haul

Similarly, the Comic Poll ended up thus:

1st - The Side Gig/Chastity Tester

2nd - Starworld(Part 4)

Thus, Andrea of the Silver Key and The Side Gig win their respective polls. Obviously, I can't have started on those yet, though I'll probably start renders for the comic as of tomorrow. We'll thus skip any mentions of updates for those. That leaves just the Wallpapers and Chastity Quest.

The Wallpapers are done save for the text and I'll probably post them within a day or two. Simple as that.

As for Chastity Quest, things are going slower than I'd hoped, but nothing too bad yet. I've pretty much completed the Dominant ending, with just a fair bit of text left to do (which I'll do tonight). The endings are fairly complex things, enough so to make capturing the assets a bit more of a nightmare than I'd really considered. Something which is doubly ironic considering that they actually don't have that many videos. They can't, or the endings would drag on forever. I want them to be fulfilling, but not have them drag on for half an hour...each. That would just be painful.

Anyway, part of the reason the first ending took so long is that it also included a bunch of story stuff. Which I won't have to replicate for the other two, since the divergence happens after most of it. The other two endings shouldn't take as long as a result. And, after those, I can work on stuffing in as many additional scenes to the Island as possible. There's only a few I absolutely have to add, but there's quite a few more I'd like to do in order to flesh the area out.

------

Lastly! I imagine (or hope) you all are interested in the animation I stuck to the post images ;-). Sadly, no you shouldn't get excited about me adding animations to Haven's Port. That game is simply too far along to consider adding them in, particularly given the time commitment they require. The reason I used Haven's Port models (the MC and Miona) was simply because I already had them pre-made and therefore they were quick and easy to use for experimentation.

What that little animation loop actually represents is my earliest experiments with making animations for the New Game(whichever one is chosen). Obviously, it's nothing super sophisticated yet! But considering that you're looking at literally my first ever proper animation, I'm pretty darn pleased with it. This is a full 60 frame animation, rather than the flip book 2-3 render style I used in Eros Academy. And it was completely, 100% self-made as well. I'd say, given that it only took me a couple of hours (plus render time), that it serves as a very solid, if also very early, proof of concept to my ability to add actual animations to the New Game. Which is very much something I'm wanting to happen! Really, my only concern at this point is going to be render times. After I finish this post, I'll be kicking off a more complete scene render of the same animation, to see how long it takes. If, as I suspect, it takes WAAAAAYYYY to long with Daz, then I'll be trying to export the animation to Blender for rendering. My attempts to do that so far have proven frustrating, but such is the nature of trying new things...
