Haven's Port Build 9 Fix
Added 2021-06-10 05:15:06 +0000 UTCI am a dumbass.
Thanks to George Lever, I was made aware that the Date content for Build 9 was not working. The problem turned out to be exclusive to completely new games. So if you were playing off the save of a previous Build, it wouldn't have effected you at all. What happened, in short, was that I forgot the actually initialize the new B9 variables for new games. I did initialize them for old saves, which is why I didn't notice, since I test using specific set of saves from previous builds in order to save myself time. Even my 'New Game' save is actually after the intro, so using my test save I couldn't figure out what was wrong at first. Below is how to fix your version:
For anyone starting a New Game online.
The regular version has been flat out fixed. There shouldn't be any need for you to do anything. For some reason, the fix wouldn't take on the compressed version, so I had to reupload it under a new URL. You can carry over saves from one to the other by using the 'Save to Disk' option in the saves. Here is the New Compressed Version
Online Players that want to use an already bugged save.
Open the save, go to the cheat menu and use the cheat: B9Fix. If it doesn't give you an error, you're golden. The compressed version almost certainly WILL give you an error(no idea why it won't update, I did everything the same as with the regular version). If it does give you an error, use this URL instead: New Compressed Version. You may have to manually save the save you want to update to disk and reload it into the version at the new URL. Though, I don't think you'll have to, as they should save to the same place, I think? Either way, open the save you want to use and enter the same cheat(B9Fix), and it will update your variables.
Download Version Users
Grab the new HTML file from here:
Regular: GDrive
Compressed: GDrive
It's only like 1.3mb, so it will take only a few seconds to download even on a bad connection. Replace the file in your game folder with that one. Any new game will be fixed, Regular or Compressed so long as you grab the right version. And any existing save can be updated to fixed by using the Cheat: B9Fix, from the cheat menu.
------
I will, of course, be replacing all current DLs and URLs in the release post with the fixed version. That will take a day or so, however. Also, it won't fix existing saves without the B9Fix cheat command being used!
I am soooooooo sorry for this, guys and gals. It was a stupid thing to miss :-(. Special thanks to George Lever for alerting me to the issue!
