Thinking of a new stretch goal.
Added 2024-05-15 16:15:59 +0000 UTCHey everyone. Since we've hit the 1.5k$ mark for some simple animations I wondered what we could aim for next, and I think I have a good one.
How about replayable scenes? You know, in the gallery where currently you have all the artwork available? Yeah, I experimented around with it a little bit, but there is a way to essentially replay the full scenes, including the dialogue. It's a bit tricky to do and would require some time investment, so it was put on the backburner for now to focus on other stuff.
But how about we'll set a stretch goal of 1.65k/month to make sure the scene replays get pushed up the priority list?
We're currently at around 1.54k (with SubscribeStar), so a little over 100$ a month away.
Sounds like a deal?

2024-05-15 17:47:55 +0000 UTCI think this is something that can be done already with player's saves, just more convenient. Imo not a priority. Ultimately, your project, so if it's a feature you want captain's perogative.

2024-05-15 17:38:42 +0000 UTCNah, that's the good thing about them, with more funds available I end up having more options available to offload some tasks to others (for example our fantastic team of co-writers, or the upcoming animations) and free up my own time to focus on other things that need doing or are neat additions, which otherwise I wouldn't really have the time for.

2024-05-15 17:32:46 +0000 UTCIf added features in your strechgoal list doesn't bring down the quality, and not become a extra source of stress, deadline and exhaustion. I think it’s ok? Extra coding in a way you didn't mastered yet, Need to be considered. Gallery without full scene is not a problem for me. I use the gallery for looking illustration. If I want the scenes I prefer redone the game. Cause you know, be in the story give more emotional satisfaction with the scenes dialogues.

2024-05-15 17:16:44 +0000 UTCI mean that's the good thing about them. In the end they allow me to get people on board to help and actually lighten from me. With the animations for example I'm not doing them myself, but the stretchgoal for it allowed me to chuck money at someone to do them. So yeah, by now I'm very aware of how much i can get done, and what tasks I'd be able to delegate or step back from with the added funding.
