Actually it's the opposite. The waistbands don't have any significance. The twins have no sashes at all because they're too young to have been scrutinized by the council over their worthiness. The other brothers are still eligible so long as they prove they're a better choice than Jintu.

2018-07-20 03:54:41 +0000 UTCHave I ever mentioned how I loved the rosy cheek look that the royal family has? I don't know why, kind of makes them look really emotional or embarrassed depending on the scene. Or in Rantu's case in the panel, thinking really thinking naughty or drunk. XD
