Phatty's Brush Pack (Photoshop & CSP)
Added 2022-08-15 15:59:55 +0000 UTCHey guys, some of you were curious to learn what brushes I work with, so thought I'd share what I currently use on Photoshop (see attachments) and Clip Studio Paint (links below).
For Photoshop: Part of my Cloud Brushes are originally from Yuumei's Cloud Brush Pack which she shared free for download here. The INKING brush from the OG pack is also used for painting sometimes!
For Clip Studio Paint: I get my brushes from the CSP asset store which are also free to download! Links below:
Lines:
The default G-Pen and this Manga Ink Pen. (Content ID: 1695016)
Colour/Blend:
Brush 1 (Content ID: 1708873)
Brush 2 (Content ID: 1727331)
Brush 3 - similar to Brush 2 but with stronger pressure sensitivity (Content ID: 1765098)
Brush 4 - great for smudging and mixing (Content ID: 1444488)
BONUS: Star Brush (Content ID: 1444488)

For youtube tutorials, I was mainly following proko, moderndayjames and Ethan Becker, where they explained anatomy and shapes relatively well for free! xD I did eventually save up some money and took a course on colours by Kat Tsai, a quick google search should bring you to the right place :> I'd also recommend checking out projectcity.tv if you're willing to spend money on specific courses according to what you're planning to learn. But assuming you're on a budget and not planning on spending, those few I mentioned on YouTube is a good place to start :D would also add Ross Draws into the list if you're interested in more painting and illustration work. Hope that helps!

Do you think you could share some of those videos? I’m trying to get into comics and am definitely a beginner when it comes to making backgrounds, settings, lighting, color schemes, etc. any tips would be greatly appreciated, I absolutely love your art style and your story has really inspired me to try ☺️💖
