What To Expect: October 2022

To say September was a pretty good month would be a massive understatement; We were able to post a good amount of new content, and started streaming more often, and as a result, we were able to get some new patrons to join; To everyone who has recently joined, or the OGs have been sticking around, thank you once again for your support!

As for me, personally, I spent a good chunk of the month playing Splatoon 3, and also planning stuff out with Eli regarding what to do over the last 3 months of the year.

So, first things first: Eli is going to be taking a well-deserved 2-week break, from October 24th through November 7th. They're having a friend come over to their place to visit and have a vacation together. We will try to give you guys as much stuff for you folks to chew over up until that time, and there might be occasional drawings that will get made, but more on that later. So, among the things we are planning to do through the end of the year are:

- Gobtober!

Eli wants to make a drawing of various SFW and NSFW goblins for every day in October, maybe including their time off as mentioned above. They want to have it posted on this Patreon for a few days before posting it on Twitter, so consider this as a bonus.

- Art/Comics of Alternate Moonlit Brew Universes!

For the past week or so, we've been talking about making fun MB-related side-projects that have no impact on the canon story (And before you ask, much like all the NSFW art posted here, this is by no means canon to MB itself!), and at the moment, we have two AUs we want to make art of. 

The first of these is what I'm calling the "Dorm Life" AU, where everything is mostly the same, except 1. Sam is transmasc, and was accepted to a scholarship at the University of Washington, and 2. He, Lydia, and Simon are living together in a dorm room at U-Dub, rather than living in their houses with their familes. Lydia is still a werewolf, but has to be extra careful not to wolf out. ;) 

The first thing we have planned for this AU is an NSFW comic where Sam is trying to "relieve some tension" in his free time, but isn't quite able to when Simon walks in on him. Shenanigans ensue, especially when Lydia comes back from her classes and walks in on them. Afterwards, we will do a bit of lore for Sam in this AU in the form of a diary, with a mix of SFW and NSFW images attached to these entries, but we'll worry about that once this comic is done. ;)

And the 2nd AU I have planned is what I'm currently referring to as the "Role Reversal" AU, and, as you might have guessed from the title, this is a story where Lydia is a normal human while Sam is a werewolf. Instead of them meeting at a coffee shop like in the beginning of MB, they meet at a movie theater where Lydia works as a box office clerk. While I don't currently have plans for a comic, I do have ideas for SFW and NSFW drawings of them in this situation. I actually have had this AU in my head for a few years, but I never really got to do anything with it. Hopefully, you'll see some drawings of this AU when we get to doing...

- Wolfcember!

That's right, Eli has plans to dedicate the entire month of December to making werewolf art! And it's not limited to Moonlit Brew, either! The drawings that will be made every day for this month were suggested by members of our Discord server, and you'll be seeing a mix of SFW and NSFW art of all kinds of werewolves; fanart of werewolves from cartoons/TV shows/etc., werewolf what-ifs of the ACES characters, and of course, some Moonlit Brew art, including the Role Reversal AU mentioned above!

And this isn't even getting to some of the other fun stuff we would like to do, including a Halloween drawing of Frankie, Val and Alfred as Resident Evil characters, another fun drawing that might be made for my birthday in November, and other things.

Eli is also wanting to stream more often, so I think we might be able to do most of these things by the end of the year!
