What To Expect: August 2022

First things first, I want to give a huge thank you to all our patrons who have returned and/or are new to the gang! I'm very ecstatic to see that our plan to introduce streams of these pages being made (as well as adding some more content outside of page uploads) has brought renewed confidence in these comics! This is only the beginning, so we're really excited for the future! 

Admittedly, we've hit a couple snags, mainly from Eli's internet being hit or miss the past two weeks, but Eli's made changes throughout the month to make sure pages were getting finished in a more efficient manner than the past few months, so we appreciate your patience as we iron out the kinks of our new schedule. Once their internet gets fixed, we are hopeful that we will stream more regularly, like we did in the early part of the month!

The next MB and ACES pages are being worked on, as we speak, and following those, we have some unfinished pinups that will also be finished before we go back to the Moonlit Grind/Fuzzy Slithers pages. And yes, we're still keeping the schedule we made in July, so one week will all be about MB/ACES pages, the next will be the NSFW comic pages, and alternate back and forth between them, every week!

One last thing I almost forgot to mention: True to my word, last month, I finally started uploading ACES pages on FurAffinity! I finished uploading Chapter 1, a few days ago, and in the coming days/weeks, I'll get Chapter 2 uploaded, as well. It won't be as up to date as it is on DA and ComicFury, but hopefully, we will be able to get new readers at a site that might find it appealing. ;)

Speaking of ACES, we have one more announcement: Eli is going to start remaking Chapter 1! These will be worked on whenever there's some spare free time, so do not worry, these remade pages will not take over priority from the usual schedule!

And you might be asking, "What makes this different from the Moonlit Brew remake pages?" When I got the early chapters of MB remade, I had to figure out how to balance between getting new pages made and these older ones that needed some TLC. With these ACES pages, again, they will be done without taking over new pages being made for any of the other comics, and, frankly, Chapter 1 could've been done a bit better; Without being too specific, there were pages where images that were meant to be reference images where the backgrounds, instead of being hand-drawn, causing a major style clash. 

Also, the elevator where Frankie and co. go down to ACES HQ for the first time looks nothing like it does in the cover, and these are some of the more glaring things that were unfortunately not taken care of due to time and/or the artist at the time wanting it to be "finished and over with". 

So, you could consider this remake a "director's cut", something that will fall more in line with how I envisioned the crucial first impressions of the story should be. The basic story beats will be the same, but how it's going to be presented will (hopefully) be better than what's currently available.
