For right now, I will keep the billing on the 1st.
Within the next few months however, I'm going to be checking Patreon's policy (and contacting them to be certain) related to making the switch to anniversary billing.
From what I currently understand, if I make the billing change, all existing patrons would continue to be billed on the 1st, unless they go into user settings and choose a different billing date.
If a patron leaves for a bit & resubs later, they would just sub on the 1st if they like being billed on the 1st, like most already do!
^ If this is all true, then 65% of you would not be affected by the billing change, and 35% of you will benefit from billing flexibility.
Again, will confirm this all with Patreon Support before even thinking of doing anything later this Spring!
