Checking in…
Added 2018-09-18 15:30:33 +0000 UTCSo, the serial is plugging along—I admit I'd like to get a bit more feedback from folks: comments about what you like, and yes, if there are things you don't like, too. I'm aware the pace is a little slow, and focused a lot more on characterization and world-building than on "macro things," which I hope isn't too much of a disappointment. Both Saida & Autumn are facing problems, neither of which can really be solved by stomping things to dust. (As far as we can tell from here, at least.)
In theory, you've all read stuff I've written before and know that I tend to be pretty character-focused, but in practice…well, as you probably know, this is my first time running a serial, and I could use the feedback.
Also: I'm thinking of posting more of the earlier chapters for free. Yes, part of that is to drum up a bit more support for the Patreon, but I'd like to let more of those folks see some of what I've been doing! This would be a separate thing from the planned ebook, which patrons at the appropriate levels will still get for free. I'm also going to try to work on another ebook collection or two of earlier stories, which may or may not include revisions and new content. (Patrons at the right levels get those for free, too, if you read closely!) I'll keep you all up to date.
Again, thank you all for the support!

Personally I've never been too great at giving feedback on well anything but if it helps, it definitely feels like you're building a nice solid world by introducing it to us over time. The whole low amount of regular giant stuff isn't too much of a downside in my opinion since it always just seems to be and that is perfectly fine. It's still there which is always nice but these kinds of stories don't have to focus on that alone if there's more going on so no worries. But so far I enjoy reading more about the world Saida is from and seeing how she fits into one on a different scale that tries to cater to those of many sizes, along with the building relationship between her and Autumn. There's something warming about the way your characters fit together in these stories which personally I always enjoy. All I can say really is keep up the great work! Definitely looking forward to more.

I love your characterization--it's what helps me draw into your vision, world building and character POVs--and always love to see more of it. :) I've commented what I can on each chapter, but I suppose they're mainly just exposition on what I truly love about each chapter. Don't know if any of them have actually helped you in any way, or given you any insight. I hope they have.
