Here's the plan: my Patreon officially launches on Monday, June 25th. (If you're here early, surprise!) The first serial, Mensura College: Autumn & Saida, will start on Wednesday, June 27th. The idea is to have one chapter posted every week.
How long will the serial be? Honestly, I don't know at this point; this is a "slice of life" story, and while there are character arcs I want to complete, I don't quite know how long it'll take to get them there. My guess is that this is going to be short novel length.
However, there are other possible stories around Mensura College. In fact, the original idea for a Patreon I had last year was a different story, and that may well become the second serial!
The first chapter or two of Autumn & Saida will be available here for free, but you'll need to be supporting me at the $3/month or higher level for as-you-go access to the rest. The full story will eventually be available to everyone, although it might be available only as an ebook. I'll make sure to let you know.
In addition to the serial, I may write some articles about the writing process here, and might post early drafts of other stories for Patrons on occasion. And I do have some other ideas for stretch goals—they'll just require some coordination to pull off. (And, of course, funds.)
