The thing that really makes me not able to approach it is Documentary Now! It's literally the best funded and most humourless Doc Now segment. Which both helps me forgive it and also realize that yeah, it's more project than poetry.

2024-01-16 22:02:27 +0000 UTCWhile I agree with joes larger point of not being excited that Cuarón is doing tv, I will say, I’m so grateful that Guadagnino’s We Are Who We Are, Vallée’s Sharp Objects, and Nichols’ Angels in America exist. All are incredible, masterful pieces of art I return to again and again.
