The fact that the tigersharks and squid pups prioritize fighting each other more than assimilating Colin probably gives him a moment to take a deep breath, and Puro is, as you just said, reassuring him that he's fine (for now). Personally I love the expression on the Snow Leopard's face. The look of bewilderment/confusion towards the aforementioned two is really funny to me. Also, do the bosses themselves have individual names to separate them from their species?
