I could certainly see the idea that certain non-dialogue things could impact the ending, such as looking at dangerous things (like the vent before the water area) while Puro is around, being a trigger for the bad ending (since it shows that the human can't be trusted to not be a dummy), but maybe I am overthinking things lol.

I would assume it has to do with one of the 4 special edition exclusive dialogue choices (Doctor K are they cute question, Puro trust question, Puro question about Doctor K motive and Puro swimming question). Two of these seem less important than the others, but the trust and motive question seem important. Of course, it could be unrelated to dialogue, but in that case there is even less that I think could effect it. Will be interesting to see!

I've been curious ever since the transformation picture back in the library where becoming a girl in front of Puro had a picture of her twirling her hair and seemingly attracted to him.
