I can’t recall if you’ve touched on this before, but is the space in a bigger room better than a closet for acoustic guitar and vocals with a condenser (Rode NT1 specifically in my case)? I’ve been recording in a probably 5 x 7 foot closet which is carpeted, lots of clothes, blankets hanging, but even then I’m wondering if my bedroom would be better spacing things out. It has vaulted ceilings, but is carpeted with curtains, a king size bed, and a few dressers. I’m wondering if just hanging a blanket behind me in the bedroom would be a better result. The closet is also the world’s biggest pain in the ass to record in and ruins a lot of the fun of it. 😂
