Q and A on hiatus
Added 2022-12-18 18:31:00 +0000 UTCin case you're wondering why there's been no "Call for Questions" for a December Q & A video: I've decided to put the video series on hiatus.
As I check the content of the YouTube channel to which I upload the videos, I find that my most recent videos are getting only about 10 to 20 views per video. The drop-off in viewership is actually rather precipitous after December 2021 (at 69 views the second-highest view count) to only 11 for the January 2022 Q&A. The views then fluctuate between 18 (July) and 10 (February and March).
Naturally I'm wondering why the sudden drop-off in interest in the Q & A sessions. Are you satisfied that you know enough about me and my work that you don't feel the need for any more info? Do my videos provide any value to you, whether it's an insight into the creative process or just a chuckle at my lame attempts at humor? If I decided to produce no more Q & As, would you miss them? Are there things you'd rather see me produce for this site than the Q & As? Are there things I can do to improve the viewing experience, like getting better equipment for better audio/visual quality, or investing in a more diverse music library?
These are the questions I'm mulling as I ponder the future of the Q & As. And I'd like to hear from you as well, since it is for you I'm producing the videos.
(And I'll be spending the time I'd use making the December video to produce more art. I'd like to get a new page of Kaijuu Fighter Tetsuko posted before the end of the year, among other things.)
So... what say you?
