And the obvious question will be... "Guess who got a green screen for Christmas?"
It's something I've wanted for a while, in order to add more visual interest to my videos - like the "virtual art gallery" I used as the backdrop for this installment.
But I discovered there are tradeoffs. By embracing green screen effects, I've apparently sacrificed the ability to overlay additional graphics over the main image, such as when I talk about a drawing I've done, and it appeared on the screen while my voice continued. (That happened in Question 1, when I wanted to overlay two particular images over the video, and I found I had to split the video and insert the picture between the clips.)
Ah well. I've got a month to learn more of the ins 'n' outs of editing green-screen footage. (Maybe I just need a better editing app...)
