This pencil test is also a test of some ideas I had about how to do an animated version of one of my "Hyper Tetsuko" drawings - taking Tetsuko from her "normal" form to her ultra-muscular "hyper" form.
The main problem I was facing was the distortion of anatomy necessary to pack so much muscle onto her frame. For example, her arms would need to lengthen during her exertions to make room for massive biceps and triceps; similarly, her shoulders would have to widen to accommodate huge pecs, lats and back muscles.
I'm starting out "small" (so to speak) with a single bicep flex, and not getting as large as I've gotten in the still drawings. But I think I'm getting a handle on how to effect the necessary distortion, and so I'm making it a goal to produce an animation of Tetsuko quadrupling (and more) her muscle mass by intense flexing. I can't say when that'll be done, but it'll be spectacular when/jf it's finished!
The download links below get you the animated GIF seen above, and a 1920 x 1440 video.
EDITED TO ADD: If all you're seeing is a black rectangle, click on the image and it'll play. Why it doesn't loop, though, I don't know; it should. (It loops on my computer!)
