"Veins" video coming soon!
Added 2017-12-12 18:26:21 +0000 UTCIf you watched the November Q & A video, you remember that I promised a video on how I render vascularity in my drawings.
Well, I'm happy to report that the video has been shot, and the drawing I used to demonstrate my vein-drawing techniques has been finished. (The drawing is a color version of the Tetsuko August POTM, mainly because I've wanted to produce a color version of that pic since I posted the b&W version.) Now comes the editing, and the adding of narration. I'll post both the video and the pic in a day or so.
This isn't so much a "how to do it" as it is "how I do it", because when it comes to art, there isn't really a "right" way to do anything. I hope seeing the techniques I use will be useful to other artists who might be struggling with vascularity, as a starting point for developing your own techniques.
