[ Celadon City - Landfill ]
The landfill on this dark and moonless night was thick with the pungent smell of waste and garbage. The only source of light came from the flickering street lamps, casting eerie shadows over the piles of trash. Austin and Domino stood facing each other, their Pokemon by their side.
Austin gritted his teeth as he gazed upon Domino while Musharna floated besides him.
Domino was the picture of confidence, dressed in all black with a leather jacket and boots. Her blonde hair was tied back in a sleek ponytail and she had a smirk on her face as she had read Austin's files and was aware that he wasn't anything special with only 4 gym badges under his belt. Alakazam and Muk, her Pokemon, stood at the ready, their psychic and poison powers waiting to be unleashed.
" Trick Room Strip."
Austin whispered as he saw the overconfident look in Domino's eyes.
He knew he had to Leverage the advantage provided to him.
Musharna's eyes glowed and a large light blue rectangle with light blue transparent walls and ceiling appear around the battlefield. Then, the light blue glow fades, and the walls and ceiling become invisible.
Musharna suddenly disappeared causing Domino to click her tongue.
" Alakazam use kinesis, muk, use gunk shot !"
Following Domino command, Alakazam's spoons glowed with psychic energy as he projected a purple ethereal chain to locate Musharna and lower her accuracy.
Domino's eyes widened as she saw the sheer speed of Musharna dodging the psychic chain and appeared in front of Alakazam as her eyes glowed before a cyan coloured string formed between her and Alakazam.
Domino felt her blood boil as she recognised that Musharna had the move " Imprison" effectively cutting off the majority of Alakazam's moveset.
Muk meanwhile shot a black sludge towards Musharna who was about to dodge but saw Domino point her gun at Austin.
Domino felt a sense of annoyance as she didn't expect to be so easily outclassed in such a short period of time.
She knew if this was a standard battle then she would have easily lost.
Domino confidently pulled out a gun, her smirk never leaving her face. Austin watched with an indifferent look as she aimed the barrel towards him. Just as she pulled the trigger, a white claw emerged from the shadows and quickly inserted itself into the barrel of the gun, causing it to explode in Domino's hand. She screamed out in pain as the gun shattered in her grasp.
Domino looked up to see a giant white alpha haunter, giggling at her. It was a terrifying sight. Alakazam, sensing the danger, tried to launch a fire punch at Haunter, but she was too quick. With a flick of her claw, Haunter pointed it towards Alakazam and blasted the psychic Pokemon with a powerful dark pulse.
Meanwhile, Austin's Musharna used her psychic powers to gather the junk of the landfill and trap project venom inside a sphere, effectively neutralizing it. The scene was a chaos of flying garbage and psychic energy as the two trainers fought for dominance.
But the battle was far from over. One of Domino's Pokeballs around her neck suddenly opened, revealing a Crobat and Houndoom. Haunter, caught off guard, let go of Domino's mouth as Houndoom fired a point-blank dark pulse. Crobat immediately took to the air, heading straight for Austin.
Musharna, always the protector, intercepted Crobat midair with a powerful psychic blast. The two Pokemon clashed in a barrage of attacks, with Crobat using air slash and Musharna deflecting the attacks with her powerful psychic abilities. In a split second, one of Musharna's psychic blasts hit Crobat's air slash, causing it to deflect towards a giant pile of garbage. The pile was instantly cut in two, sending garbage flying everywhere.
The air was filled with the sound of flapping wings as Crobat descended upon Austin, launching multiple air slashes at him. Austin's eyes widened when suddenly a blue energy shield appeared in front of him, deflecting Crobat's attacks. It was Musharna, using her Reflect to protect Austin.
Crobat, not one to be deterred, used Aerial Ace to speed blitz Musharna. The attack was fast and precise, but Musharna was ready. She stood firm, her psychic energy glowing bright blue. But just as she thought she had the upper hand, Crobat Infiltrator ability activated as she bypassed Reflect, biting down on Musharna with dark type energy covering her fangs.
" Psychic impact !" Austin quickly commanded as Musharna pushed through the pain as her body was surrounded by orange streaks. Purple energy then appeared from the top of the streaks and enveloped her body as she slammed her head onto Crobat who was thrown back.
Musharna disappeared and appeared in front of Crobat as she blasted the poison type with a point blank psychic attack embedding into the ground.
....
The alpha white Haunter gazed upon Houndoom, taking in the strange metallic bell attached to its neck. The bell suddenly threw out a Kasib Berry, which Houndoom eagerly devoured. Haunter was impressed by the technology, intrigued by the device's ability to deliver such sustenance with ease.
But Houndoom was not content to simply stand and admire the technology. With a roar, it rushed at Haunter, flames blazing around its body as it used Flame Charge. Haunter, unfazed, phased into the shadows and disappeared from view.
Moments later, Haunter reappeared behind Houndoom, using her Shadow Sneak ability to move with the speed and stealth of a ghost. Houndoom spun around, confused and disoriented, as the metallic ball launched a Colbur Berry towards it.
But Haunter was not about to let Houndoom have the upper hand. With a fierce cry, she launched a Fire Punch, her fist crackling with energy. To Haunter's surprise, the attack was absorbed by Houndoom's Flash Fire ability, the flames only serving to fuel the dark type's power.
The two Pokemon stood facing each other, their eyes locked in a fierce battle of will. The air was thick with tension as they circled each other, searching for any sign of weakness. Houndoom, its eyes blazing with the heat of its inner flames, lunged forward, ready to strike.
But Haunter was ready. With a flick of her wrist, she summoned a powerful Shadow Ball, the energy crackling with dark power. The two attacks collided with a deafening boom, the ground shaking beneath their feet as they clashed in a burst of light and energy.
For a moment, everything was still. The only sound was the distant cry of a far-off bird. And then, with a roar, Houndoom lunged forward, its teeth bared as it attacked with a powerful Crunch.
Haunter was ready for the attack, her own teeth glowing with a ghostly light. The two Pokemon clashed in a deadly embrace, their bodies writhing and thrashing as they fought for dominance.
As the fight between Haunter and Houndoom raged on, Domino saw an opportunity to take advantage of the distraction. She made a break for Austin, pulling a knife from her pocket. Austin, however, was ready for her. With a swift glance in her direction, he kicked the knife away before spinning around in a full 360 degree kick that sent Domino crashing to the ground. Despite the impact, Domino wasn't fully knocked out. With a fierce determination in her eyes, she tried to bite down on her tongue, as her tooth had a pill that was full of toxins that would make her seem that she was dead.
Austin quickly reacted, placing his foot in her mouth to prevent her from carrying out her deadly plan. He stood over her, his expression a mixture of disgust and amusement. "Really?" he quipped. "A foot fetish? That's a new one." With a chuckle, Austin proceeded to deliver the final blow, knocking Domino out cold.
The fight between Haunter and Houndoom continued in the background, the two Pokémon battling with ferocity and skill. Austin took a moment to catch his breath, the adrenaline of the fight still pumping through his veins. He had managed to take down one of his opponents, but he knew that the battle was far from over. He would need to stay alert, ready for whatever came next.
With a deep breath, Austin turned his attention back to the ongoing battle, ready for whatever lay ahead as he knew that the battle against team rocket is not far away as he was going to wait until that day comes, he was going to do everything he can to create more advantage for himself and his victory.

[ Omake Paragraph ]
It is odd to consider that, while sunlight typically makes plants bigger and stronger, a Gloom exposed to excess sun (or sun stones) will shrink to a smaller size than an Oddish when it evolves into a Bellossom. Furthermore, unlike a Gloom's noxious odor and venom (or that of wild Oddish, although farm Oddish have had the poison bred out), Bellossom are not poisonous and extremely edible pokemon. Indeed, some have questioned if it is even an evolution at all; Gloom certainly turn into Bellossom, but to many it seems like a devolved version of Gloom, or certainly a dead end compared to a Vileplume.
Yet many trainers choose to evolve their Gloom into Bellossom, and there is a good deal of evidence to suggest that they made the right choice. Bellossom emit a sweet, pleasant fragrance which draws their opponents to them, then strike them with a powerful, point-blank Solarbeam, winning many a battle instantly. Their small size and dancing ability allow them to move around and dodge many attacks, whenever their rival either manages to regain focus or lacks a significant sense of smell. These matches often come down to the weather; against opponents of more or less equal strength, Bellossom usually win in the sun, but lose on cloudy and rainy days.
Most trainers who choose the path of Bellossom, however, do not do so for power. Instead, they do so because they find Bellossom to have a kinder temperament, a much better fragrance, and because they grow beautiful flowers which can be picked and given to loved ones. Evolution is nothing more than adaptation, and Bellossom, evolving as they do from domestic Oddish, have become a species which humans love.
