Chapter no.191 Marowak and Team Rocket

[ Marowak's POV ]
Screams of suffering, sorrow, confusion, agonyโ€ฆ
She shuddered to think of what was happening outside.
The gravestones broke apart as corpses of deceased pokemon were emerging as ghastly and hunters of Lavender Tower desecrated the corpses of the Dead to defend themselves against Team Rocket.
It truly seemed like a scene from hell.
She was torn from her thoughts as another scream pierced the air.
She instantly recognized it as her son's wailing cry.
To the right she could see him.
Her son was sprinting as he had done before. Due to their typing , the ghosts'of lavender Tower couldn't harm them hence they lived in peace.
But the joy from before had been replaced by fear and panic.
She could see her son shaking, eyes wide as he scrambled away.
But the men were gaining on him, their own eyes narrowed and cold.
She moved before she could even think.
The screams were joined by those of the men as she slammed into the intruders.
A deafening crash resounded through the area as the men and pokemon were knocked back and to the ground.
As the slamming sounds ebbed, she was aware of her son whimpering and shaking.
He still stood behind her, but she knew that couldn't be for long.
If he was going to survive, then she had to make the message clear.
So she barked out an order, telling her son to run.
She knew that humans couldn't understand her words, but to her son, the message was obvious.
Her son took a few shaky steps, before the steps turned into a sprint and he bolted away.
However, she did not watch him leave.
She could see the men getting up from the ground, despite being battered and bruised. She narrowed her eyes as she stared straight at them, weapon at the ready.
She wouldn't let them harm her son!
She couldn't let them harm her son!
Yet her gaze was met by the men's own cold fury, not even close to being diminished.
Suddenly, she could hear one of the men speaking. She couldn't understand human language, but could tell from the snarling tone that the words sounded angry.
And thenโ€ฆ
The man who had spoken ran up, fury blazing in his eyes. He held something in his hand, although she wasn't sure what. It looked like a square with a handle, but there was some long part in front, and around the area at the end.
He pointed the object at her, and she still narrowed her eyes.
No matter what, she would fight to the end!

Austin meanwhile in the lower floors was rushing in with Munna and Pikachu besides him.
In his hands was a talisman that the Brady and Grady had given him.
They said they would get help as the duo had used an Abra to teleport to somewhere.
Austin couldn't help but scream in his head.
' Fuck , why was the attack on Lavender Tower happening so early ?'
" Pika ! " Pikachu shot a thunderbolt towards a figure running towards them.
The white bolt of lightning blasted towards the figure causing a smoke cloud to form.
From within the smoke cloud , something shot out towards Pikachu who had used Brick Break to deflect the object.
" Pika !"
Pikachu shot forward into the smoke with quick attack.
" Cubone !"
The cry of the pokemon caused Austin to stop dead in his tracks as he immediately turned towards Munna who read the mind of her trainer as her eyes glowed with an ethereal red as a large light blue rectangle with light blue transparent walls appearing around the halls of Lavender. Then, the light blue glow fades, and the walls and ceiling becomes invisible.
Munna seemed to disappear as Austin took a deep breath while walking towards Pikachu who held up Cubone against the wall.
" Pikachu, Can you please let Cubone down ?"
" Pika ?"
While a little confused , Pikachu obliged as he let the lonely pokemon down.
Austin went on one knee as he looked at Cubone who had closed his eyes and was shaking.
Placing a hand on Cubone's head , Austin asked in an extremely warm tone ," You are quite the brave one aren't you , facing the big bad Pikachu."
" Pika !"
Cubone opened his eyes as he looked into Austin's eyes who was trying to ignore Pikachu's heated glare.
" Cubone, can I ask you a few questions ?"
While a little hesitant at first, Cubone nodded vigorously as he smelled a pokeblock that Austin handed him.
" Cubone, did the people attacking this place have a big red R on their clothing ?"

Marowak registered a deafening, banging, sound.
She was alerted to a sudden, burning, pain in her shoulder, and felt as though something had penetrated there. She could feel a sticky substance dripping down.
Even she didn't have to see it to figure out what it was it could have been alot worse if the mysterious pokemon infront of her hadn't stepped in.
The team rocket grunt who fired the shot looked at Munna with intense curiousity.
Just what was this pokemon ?
Munna's eyes glowed with blue light as the gun in the grunt's hand was crushed with the use of Psychic.
( ~ Boom ~ )
The grunt howled in pain as his hand or what was left of it bled like crazy.
The scream of the grunt alerted everyone of Munna's presence as one of team rocket's Umbreon charged towards Munna with Shadow Claw.
Munna disappeared and appeared above Umbreon with an orb of fairy aura in her mouth.
( ~ Boom ~ )
Umbreon crashed into the ground breaking another tombstone.
Form the burning pain was rapidly overwhelming her, as her vision began to fade.
Executive Butch gritted his teeth.
First he had to deal with these reanimated corpses that the Ghost pokemon were using as marionette and now there was that pink mysterious pokemon.
Could things get any worse ?

[ Lavender Tower - Sealed Room ]
At the bottom of Lavender Tower was a hidden room covered in hundreds of thousands of talismans.
Inside the cursed sealed room was a dismembered sickly pale hand held by thousands of red strings.
This hand held onto an old pokemon that radiated a purplish black aura.
