Chapter no.80 New Spiritual Gods

[ POV Change ]
Pillars of different colours erupted towards the sky from the barren wasteland that was once a lush and beautiful forest .
Above the crater , 3 figures silently observed these pillars .
Yu Yan couldn't help but be impressed as she felt the power of Laws coming from the pillars . The members of the War God's Army each had a comprehension of their respective laws that was on another level to the Spiritual Gods she had fought alongside with .
Yu Yan's eyes shifted towards Lin Lingtian who was deep in thought while standing over the edge .
Xiao Ning'er stood up from her position and stood beside him .
Lin Lingtian suddenly froze, his heart nearly stopping, as he felt Xiao Ning'er's hand wrap lightly around his.
Lin Lingtian wanted to laugh out loud , he was so deep in his thoughts that he was actually caught off guard by someone holding his hands.
He stood motionless for a moment, not turning his head to look her way, waiting to see what she would do next. She kept her eyes forward, not saying a word, not giving any indication that anything was strange. Her right hand kept a gentle grip on Lin Lingtian''s left. She wasn't giving it a reassuring squeeze, as she had done once or twice before. She wasn't trying to get his attention, or lead him somewhere. She was just standing next to him, holding his hand tenderly, somewhat stiffly. And she wasn't letting go.
Lin Lingtian his heart thumping in his chest. This was a situation he had never been in before, and he had no idea how to react. Even if he had known how to react, his brain was currently short-circuiting, unable to send signals to the rest of his body. All of his mental capacity was focused on the sensation of his hand in hers. He knew he needed to do something, instead of keeping her waiting, but that was easier said than done.
His body ended up making the decision for him. His hand curled back around hers of its own volition, wrapping awkwardly around her fingers. He could feel her slacken somewhat in response, her body relaxing as her affectionate gesture was reciprocated. He took note of how tough her hand was. He could feel one of their pulses, but he couldn't tell whose it was. Perhaps it was both.
Now that he had managed a reaction, Lin Lingtian was able to think again, though his mind was moving a million miles an hour.
Love was something weird for Lin Lingtian as he had a few crushes back on Earth but that was all they were , crushes formed out of attraction to his teenage mind but here in this world his and Xiao Ning'er's relationship was much more greater then best friends . They both could had looked into each other's soul and knew very well what they meant to one another .
Their two hands were clasped together a bit inelegantly, as they gripped each other's fingers more than their palms, a result of their shared hesitation and nervousness. After a few uncomfortable seconds, Lin Lingtian wriggled his hand free while keeping it against hers, and he felt her hand open up in response. With room to move, he slid his hand properly into her grip, his thumb hooking onto hers, their overheated palms pressed against each other, before grasping it again. She gripped his hand in return, and the two now fit together perfectly. It was an oddly casual and courteous action in an otherwise world-changing moment.
Lin Lingtian for the first time ever since coming to this world wanted to deepen his relationship with Xiao Ning'er as at first while he knew of Xiao Ning'er's feelings for him , his sole focus was on adventure and coming to terms his morality but now that the burden on his mind was over and after he had seen Xiao Ning'er comprehend the law of Love which was a unique law that could only be comprehended by those who heart and soul belongs to another .
Lin Lingtian and Xiao Ning'er stood beside one another as no words needed to be said , they both were ready to stand besides one another even if the world goes against them .
Yu Yan emotionlessly stared at them as her brows tightly furrowed from the deep pain that came from her soul. Some time ago, her human emotions gradually faded away and disappeared from her. Distant memories had also dulled in her mind. However those countless memories suddenly poured into her head.
She could still see herself as a child, running through a grassy plain with her father and mother nearby. She seemed so happy as she played around.
She saw her young self, secretly in love with a boy even though she didn't even dare to raise her head to look at his face.
All kinds of human emotions resurrected themselves in her mind once more.
A small smile formed on Yu Yan's face as she stared at Lin Lingtian and Xiao Ning'er standing besides one another .
Yu Yan shrank her body as she floated towards Lin Lingtian and sat on his shoulder who just glanced at her as he didn't mind at all .
Although the current Yu Yan was tiny, her translucent clothes still couldn't fully cover her impressive figure. A deep ravine could be seen through her loose collar and her slender legs seemed even purer, as if they had been made of white jade.
Lin Lingtian snapped his fingers as the dust particles in the air were controlled by the Law of Earth as they the carbon bonds were broken and remade by the law of primal Chaos . Wrapping around Yu Yan , a new set of clothes had formed .
Yu Yan smiled at Lin Lingtian who smiled back as she calmly sat on his shoulders, but her thoughts were unable to calm themselves for a long period time. Eventually, she raised her head and looked at the resolute outline of Lin Lingtian's cheek. Her gaze flickered. She then turned her head towards a different direction with a light sigh. She saw it in the depths of her soul: the truth that she was not from this world. She wondered what the circumstances of her birth were. Where did she come from?
Yu Yan decided that once she stopped the Ashura World's Invasion alongside them , she would request to leave this world in search of her origins .
While she didn't know Lin Lingtian to the same extent as Xiao Ning'er , something in her heart told her that Lin Lingtian and Xiao Ning'er would happily company her to search for her origins .
Suddenly feeling a lot of Divine Sparks being condensed , Yu Yan gazed alongside Xiao Ning'er and Lin Lingtian as the members of the War God's Army emerged as Spiritual Gods.
The Temporal Qilin " Tempest " was the first to emerge as the Spiritual God of Space and Time



Then Izabel emerged as the Spiritual God of Metal
