Chapter no.1 Where am I ?

( Nate's POV )

( Chirp )

Sigh , Ah ! It was so early in the morning to wake up .
Today , he did want to get out of his warm bed .
Well , his little brother would call him a lazy sloth but what could he do , he didn't want to get out this warm bed .

" Breakfast is ready , Nate and Benjamin come down to eat ."

Hearing his mother call him and his little , he could help but groan .

Separating his body from his warm bed , Nate walked into the bathroom but it was occupied by his little brother showering .

A sigh escaped his mouth , going back to his room , Nate scrolled the internet to see if anything interesting was happening .

Pokémon : Legends Arceus was announced a few days ago along with the generation 4 remakes which didn't catch that much of his attention .

From an early age , he loved Pokémon .

He watched the anime when ash challenged the Sinnoh region and the kalos region , never watched the indigo , johto , hoenn , unova when he was a kid causing him to view as an amazing protagonist .

He couldn't help but chuckle at what he thought of Ash Ketchum when he was a kid . Then again he was not considered an adult according to his mother even though he was 18 years old . Smiling he began to open his emulator to play Pokémon : Fire Red .

His mother was a very strict and loving woman with a heart of gold always telling him to be careful of this and that and how he isn't ready to date a girl . Well he isn't going to tell her about Jessica , a girl he was dating for a few weeks . He wanted to build a relationship a solid relationship with her before college starts .

He was always a hard worker in his own words . Always in the top 3 in his class and now he was a few weeks away from the start of the college semester .

Today was the day , he will move to the dormitory of the college .

The time began to speed up like it was in a race . Before he knew it , he was standing Infront of his father , a strict man with a tough outer appearance but a soft heart . His father was a Spanish teacher in the local school . He smiled proudly at me , this was moment I couldn't help but remember what his father always adviced him ," Always look forward , your life is too short to look back on your failures and what ifs ."

" Nate , do you have your underwear ? "

" Yes ."

" Your Clothes ."

" Mom ! "

" ( Sigh ) Be safe and become a great doctor ."

Nate nodded and looked at his little brother who was 12 years old , playing Roblox . With a smile he hugged his brother .

He was going to miss messing with this piece of shit .

Nodding at his father , Nate picked up the suitcase and began walking towards the bus .

In the bus walking to the back seat , Nate sat in silence . He was nervous and excited the college was in different state , this was an exciting feeling like he was going to step into a new world .

Calling his kinda gf " Jessica "

" Hey , Nervous ."

" yeah "

" Would it have been better if I was there with you ?"

" Yeah , Would feel better if you were in my arms ?"

" Oh ! Hold your horses lover boy ."

" Hahaha ."

Nate walked through the terminal , he was going to fly to California from Washington DC .

Getting comfortable , Nate sat by the window seat looking at the beautiful night sky .

To his left was a elderly woman around the age of 60 .

Nate heard the captain say over the intercom that the plan will begin taking off .

Closing his eyes , Nate couldn't help but smile this will begin a new journey in his life .A new adventure where he will become the very best like no one ever was hahahaha .

Hours smoothly go with the plane experiencing a few turbulent shakes .

Causing a few children around the age of 7 to start crying .

( Boom ! )

The left wing of the plane began to catch on fire .

( Kyaaa )

Chaos ensued as the people began to panic .
The flight attendants were trying to calm every one .

Nate couldn't help but feel a sense of dread , fear of dying creeped in his mind . A few tears flew out of his eyes .

( Boom ! )

Something else had exploded but Nate knew nothing only a moment of intense heat and then nothing .

Only a numbness .
