Also, the Russians refusing to speak with anyone but the president even though they are aware the US has already been hit with nuclear weapons seems unlikely. They would want as much information as they could get, they may still launch against us but I think they would be trying get as much information as possible. Otherwise, I think the book is great and terrifying.

Anyway, Jacobsen has a good recent podcast with Dan Carlin where she gives a summary of her book. She also does have a great voice for all of you perverts.

Unfortunately a lot of people in there feel like they have their own agenda and think they have their finger on the pulse of Actionboyz culture or that they are really funny and can get some kind of recognition amongst the fans in the discord. They're supposed to be used to charge cans of homemade whipped cream. I've never personally seen anyone use them for their intended purpose.

2024-04-29 07:32:16 +0000 UTCThis film is egregiously stupid, features awful acting and I loved it. I skipped this one back in the day so I had blast catching up with this late Silver gem. The intensity of the action scenes was amazing, with endless exploding cars and quality squib work. It was obvious why Crawford's acting career went nowhere but Baldwin was almost just as bad. He was all stilted line readings and Zoolanderesque posing. The scene where he tried to pull off a John Woo style double pistol pose was hilarious. He looked a like proper gobshite as he dropped out the frame while shooting. But the action is good and the 90 minute runtime flies by. So thanks to the Boyz for pointing me towards another overlooked gem.
