Good Guys Wear Black (1978)
Added 2022-08-08 07:00:03 +0000 UTC
This week we watch GOOD GUYS WEAR BLACK to see if the title holds true. I guess it kind of does? Chuck Norris and his team of soldiers, the Black Tigers, are dressed in black for like 11 minutes of the movie - so that’s something.
Hell yeah

As a 911 operator every day I am truly crestfallen to never take calls that are solely for artistic authenticity and research. Usually it’s just Apple Watch buttdials

Down an internet rabbit hole. I do recall watching a Karate Kid cartoon where Daniel and Miyagi travel the world. Stunned that I never caught an ep of cartoon Police Academy or Teen Wolf.

The Mr. T cartoon is weird as fuck. There's an obnoxious kid who is always talking like T and a dog with a mohawk.

Rodgers mentioned the Chuck Norris Karate Commandos cartoon, maybe for Shadow Wolves. Any other inexplicable action movie cartoon tie ins? I remember watching Rambo The Force of Freedom. And vaguely recall a Robocop animated series.

This movie is more or less the same as that Chris Pratt Amazon show.

Heat (1986), with Burt Reynolds, is a truly great movie.

The rare movie with many different perspectives on PTSD (slow, oblivious, snow bunny) and they are all offensive.

Dana Andrews - Harolds - is the original Ted Stryker from “Zero Hour!”, the film bought to produce “Airplane!”. He clearly had a much different drinking problem. 😏
