Development update for V0.6, bad news and good news

For Prince of Suburbia: Hey guys, I just wanted to give an update on the state of things. First off, I'm very sorry to all of you as things are delayed from my previous expectations. We're doing alright on the art side and are just slightly behind on art assets right now. We have maybe 4-5 more illustrations needed and two more animations before we have the content originally needed before I considered the V0.6 content to be ready for release.

We had to make the tough decision to move on from our programmer, Darkmage. To put it simply, deadlines weren't being met with ample time given for implementation of the rewrite. You all know as well as I do that it has already been a few months since the last release and there is little to show for it on the programming side of things. It was disappointing for me to find out and I'm sure even more disappointing for all of you. I won't go into anymore specifics for that. We wish Darkmage the best of luck in his future endeavors.

In response to that situation, I have been in talks to polisummer, the original programmer for Prince of Suburbia. We reached an agreement today in which he will come back on to the team and handle the rewrite. The current plan now is to get the rewrite to about 1/3 of the way in (where the very pivotal thing happens at the neighbor's house) before releasing what we have up to that point. This will include new script and at least one awesome animation I think you guys will love.

I asked polisummer to catch us up as quickly as possible to include getting us to the point where we have all the new content in the game for V0.6. We will do polishing after we reach that point with the new sprites as a toggleable option as I have shown in previous posts, voice acting sex moans specific to the women in the game, etc (which will have no impact on the speed of the following update as usually we are waiting on the art assets before we are ready.

Lastly, I have some big news (I think it's good and hope you will too) coming closer to the end of the year.
