Development Update V0.55 & V0.6

Hello Patrons,

I just wanted to give you all an update. We're a couple of illustrations away from having all of the art assets needed to finish what was planned to be the end of V0.55. There is a final animated scene already finished that was supposed to be in V0.55 as well. I hope to release the final version of V0.55 this month that will have all of the planned scenes. It will only be a small amount more of story content in comparison to the V0.55 BETA release.

We have parted ways with KalikaSion for writing services. We have nothing against KalikaSion and wish her the best in her future endeavors. Please feel free to leave a comment for her and I'll pass it along. Thank you for your efforts KalikaSion!

We have brought on Josselyn Stark as the Writer for the Story, Dialogue, and Script. Please give her your support as she is amazingly talented.

I'm sure some of you will be wondering, "TheOmega, ANOTHER writer? What makes you think it will make things any better?" And, my answer to you is that you will just have to trust. I'm working from home these days and have more time to dedicate towards polishing this game now. That includes finding staff and managing them to ensure that we create a higher quality game than what exists currently.

SO, the plan is to have Josselyn Stark heavily edit/rewrite the game from start to V0.6 release (new content not out yet). Darkmage will then reimplement the programming as necessary in order to make the new story flow as desired. The hope here is to truly have a better story that will be less cringe in some places, have better pacing, and much better character development. Who knows, maybe people will hate a few of the characters a little less =D. Please feel free to say hello to Jossleyn Stark here or in Discord. She's awesome!

Last little bit of news here. The plan is to release V0.6 ~2-3 months AFTER V0.55 is officially released with all of the planned content it had. We're hoping to do shorter but more frequent updates (every 2-4 months instead of 5-7 months). Thank you all for your patience and support!
