Audio sync stuff is only really bad for 10-15 minutes, just power through or fast forward

Didn’t even notice any sync issues just thought it was pretty clear that Gabrus wasn’t recording with his normal setup; but I mean we’re 18 months in to this I would think folks would be able to spot the difference between a zoom and non zoom recording input without freaking out and throwing toys out of the car. Hell there are plenty of dogshit famous people podcasts that record normally using the kind of setup he had to use in a pinch , so we’re lucky.

I haven't listened to this particular episode so I can't speak on this specifically but for the most part the audio/mix has been fine. I'm guessing maybe someone's local zoom recording failed and they had to go with a live mix? I dunno how Zoom works exactly. Anyway, it's been generally fine so the occasional foul up doesn't necessarily mean the call for in-person recordings. I'm sure they will when they're ready but it's been working for the most part so far.

Dana Gould, who's the biggest Planet Of The Apes fan (he lives in Roddy McDowell's old house on Mulholland) always talks about doing Politically Incorrect with Heston back in the day and how cool and nice he was even though they disagreed on almost everything politically. I like to think Chuck would be against what the NRA has become.. but probably not

I love the book! My favorite adaptation is the Vincent Price 'Last Man on Earth' from 1964. It's not the greatest movie, but it definitely influenced 'Night of the Living Dead,' and I'm a huge Price fan, so I enjoy it quite a bit.
