There have been some months where this podcast was the only thing that could make me laugh, I really love the energy you all have. I just want to say that while Ben has always been funny, his flow is naturally hampered by his necessary role in pushing the narrative forward. However, these last few months Ben has really come into his own and has been more hilarious than ever.

2020-12-31 20:52:28 +0000 UTCRe: John David Washington, I think Blackkklansman is proof he can be every bit as commanding a screen presence as his father (no hyperbole intended). It's too bad that, with Tenet, he has a role that on the one hand grants him more exposure than he's had before, but on the other hand is written intentionally as a sort of cipher (being called "the protagonist" and so on). I hope people don't project the blankness of his character on him as an actor. I'd be interested in hearing what other people think.
