Episode 4, Update #26

I know how many of you feel about Alexa, but personally, those lips drive me crazy! 😅

It was nice having had a few days to work in a full time capacity, and I pretty much got done exactly what I thought I 'd get done! Apart from the sparring match and a few bits and bobs to tidy up, the red branch is completed!

The diagram is not an exact timeline or representation of everything that's there. In fact, both the red and blue branches run on a different timeline, eventually converging back to the same point. They're two completely unique experiences, with some parts complementing one and another that craft the whole picture.

I never even explained what the numbers on them mean! Basically, 10% means I've written what needs to happen, so I know what to do. Around 25% means I've written all the dialogue and can start posing the renders. The number goes all the way to 100% once I've got all of them. If I leave something hanging at 90%, it means I'm still not entirely sure and I might need some additions or make changes.

The coming weeks, I'll jump between the red sparring match and the remainder of the blue branch. Because I was able to work on scenes a lot, my render qeue is backed up... the usual bottleneck with only one machine. Unfortunately, I'll have to return to work as well on Monday, so development will go back to its usual pacing as I return to 16 hour work days and a few hours deep in the night to render while I sleep.

I'm aiming for the end of October to release, but it all depends how long the second-to-last scene will take. I might still cut some bits from it, but I don't really want to for the sake of releasing earlier. Releasing around halloween is oddly fitting, as it's the same timeline as that's where we are in the story. On top of that, without giving anything away, there's some light spooky elements... you'll find out! I hope those scenes are enjoyable and leave you with a feeling of excitement, as much as I liked making it.

Anyway, I'm rambling on... Rosie is Miss September, and I'll send her around next week!
