2018-07-23 21:00:56 +0000 UTCOne of the on-going themes of Action Boyz that resonates with me is how inappropriately young you were—and I was—when we first watched these movies. Do you guys have broader thoughts on that? I really like the comment that (I think it was Stanger) picking Rocky IV over 101 Dalmatians was a kind of origin story. Having kids myself I would never in a million years let them watch Beastmaster before they were 12-13, even though it was on heavy rotation in my house. Having kids I also cannot wait to watch some of these with them, so I totally get that side, too. Do you also think that since movies don't take the swings they used (focusing more on technical aspects) to it's less of a machismo thing for dads to watch action with their kids these days?
