Commissions

Some words before everything: it has been a huge issue of mine to always feel pressure with commissions. I usually accept 10 and the last ones it feels like I'm dragging and have little inspiration for them. As I work full time as a zookeeper, while commissions help me A LOT, I already have pressure from my day job, and it's worse getting home and then realize that I'm dragging my commissions and taking ages and feel no inspiration. For this reason, I'm always trying to find ways to stop that. Free art requests, new commission types, and so on. 

This month I want to try something different. I want to do a waiting list. The ideas is that I will ONLY ACCEPT ONE COMMISSION AT A TIME, focus solely on it. And when I'm done with that one, I will reach for my waiting list and ask the next person for their commission.

As usual Patreon gets my commissions first! So here is how this will work!

MY COMMISSIONS WILL OPEN ON THE 25TH OF AUGUST FOR MY PATRONS. 

If you want a commission by then, tell me in the comments that you would like to be placed on the waiting list. People will be added to it on a first-come-first-serve basis (hence why you must comment on this post), and I will work on commissions from the start of that list, one by one, which means I will reach for the next person once the commission of the person above is finished.

SMALL FAQ

Q: What if I don't want the commission when my turn comes?

A: A spot on the waiting list does NOT force you to have a commission. It simply allows you the chance to have one when I've the time; this means you can cancel your spot if by the time I reach you, you do not have the funds. 

Q: My commission might be something you don't like and you might refuse it! 

A: If it really is a complicated commission and you think there is a chance I might refuse yours, talk to me first. Or have a back-up idea if there is something else you might want to get!

Q: How many commissions can I ask?

A: This is still something I'm trying to work out with my patrons first. I will say TWO at a time, but once I'm done with those two, you can absolutely ask to be added to the waiting list again. 

Q: Will you open this waiting list for public?

A: Not right now. My commissions are currently patreon exclusive. If I do open them to public, Patrons will have an exclusive waiting list just for them, as you guys have priority.
