The porch light flickered as the chimera stepped up to the door, three voices arguing in a whisper.

Goat-head: “I'm telling you, going as mundane as possible for Halloween is trendy.”
Lion-head: “Mundane isboring. I wish we had a majestic costume fitting my mane.”
Snake-head: “Hush, both of you. Let me do the talking — I always get what I want.”

The door creaked open. A startled human blinked at the sight — horns, mane, and tail all grinning at once.

“Trick or treat!” they chimed in chaotic unison.
The snake-tail leaned forward, voice smooth and teasing: “We like treats… but tricks are more fun.”

The human froze. Candy hit the bowl, fast.
They left with giggles, the tail whispering, “Told you — sugar and charm, unbeatable combo.”
