... there will not be charges enacted in May 2025, because I won't be producing work this month of April 2025.

If you're on the newer anniversary billing thingy they've made everyone go on since November 2024, where you're charged on the date you initially joined, don't panic. For example, if you joined 10th March and you see a charge on 10th April, that's normal; Patreon charges in arrears so you're paying for March's content. You won't be charged in May.

As iterated here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/announcement-of-125591898 please note that this only applies to Active Patrons: that is to say, if you don't alter your pledge or you didn't (re)join this month of April. I charge upfront, a hangover from the old days of dealing with 'Dine-and-Dashers'. I can't change it to per creation, and given how they're really leaning towards podcasts and stuff nowadays, ala https://news.patreon.com/articles/quentin-tarantino-and-roger-avary-s-video-archives-podcast-finds-a-new-home-on-patreon and https://news.patreon.com/articles/introducing-our-podcast-network-initiative-collaborating-with-select-sony-and-wondery-shows , I don't think they want Creators to anyway.

Given what's going on in the world at the minute with tariffs and certain social media platforms' fates hanging in the balance, ala: https://news.patreon.com/articles/how-to-start-thinking-and-creating-beyond-tik-tok , I'm not sure what's going to happen, especially given I don't really offer anything physically. If I hear anything concrete and something that'll affect us anthro aficinados, I'll inform you duly.
