It's October! And...

My apologies for being a few weeks late, but here I am, back home and ready to work again!
The holiday was... an experience, in both ways, but you're not here for that. Here's what happening this month:
Fret not, I have a lot of somethings to compensate for the latter. Anyway, I'm picking up right where we left off in July. No unpleasant surprises like pledge increases (on my part; fees are a different story-- though, given this platform moving its financial operations to Ireland really upended things in August and apparently continues to be an issue, depending on your bank/credit card, I'll write-up a separate post for this topic).
That said, there are some... concerns that may/may not affect me in the not-too-distant future. Namely:

This won't affect anyone outside the UK, but essentially my country wants to better police the Internet and what is permissible. You can read a summarised version of this bill here, straight from the horse's mouth. As widely reported on 19th September 2023, it took one step closer to becoming law and I'm watching like a hawk for what the ramifications of this will be for this platform and UK-specific access to the online world and the publication of content therein. I'll keep you posted.
Also, during the interim whilst I was away, there was a policy update here. But what really set the cat among the pigeons was something that was an (un)intended side-effect of establishing a means of a quicker means of communication on this platform (since most use off-platform programs like Telegram and Discord -- to my knowledge).
Bearing in mind, I did not receive an e-mail (being inactive here at the time) and learned this off the site-formerly-known-as-Twitter, your personal information on your Members' Profile is set to public by default. As indicated here on Support, there are plans to have more information added, like who you are Pledging to and at what Tier for example. You can read a more comprehensive guide on the upcoming policy change here at the Privacy Centre.
I don't really much like this, so if you want to turn this off, then do the following within your Patron settings (Content Creators have a separate Creator settings, so I wanted to differentiate between the two):
I hope that makes sense. I think that's about everything...?
Please look forward to the artwork coming this month; I don't anticipate any problems this month, given I've done what I've been told and got the A-OK. But I shall keep you posted. Look out for that info... most likely here, because I taken the decision to retreat from social media for a while. I'm not very good at socialising, truth be told.
Regardless, thank you for your support as always and enabling me to continue this gig after such a long break (hey, you helped pay for my new work chair, with lumbar support!).
Yours Sincerely,
'Kamiduzaurus
