Ta-da! This was a lot easier to put together as these panels were originally drawn for the previous page. Blame my love of Crayon Shin Chan for the goji 誤字/ ごじ(misspelling, typos). Please look forward to more coming soon and again, thank you to everyone who continues to support this story.
Anyway, TL Notes:
- Assign and Short Times: riffing on the saying— a sign of the times
- Goji: Goji berries used to be commonly referred to as Chinese wolfberries. This may stem from a mistaken interpretation of the Greek word λυκιον (lykion) which sounds very similar to the Greek word for wolf ύκος (lycos). However, lykion alludes to Lycia, an ancient state that once stood where modern Türkiye is nowadays, and where the Ancient Greeks thought the plant came from. Goji became the standard English term for the plant in modern times, as it’s an approximation of the Mandarin word for the plant gǒuqǐ 枸杞
Don't forget, you can read the previous parts of the comic here in the Collection.
