For context, this fan-translation appeared earlier in the year. Previously unreleased in the West, Treasure Conflix was a Squaresoft (nowadays better known as this monolith) game JRPG where you, the ironically-named silent protagonist Voice, embark on a planet-wide adventure with your partner, Loud the… I think he’s supposed to be a dragon alien?
As it is with pixel-art sprite-based games, I had to guesstimate what Loud looks like—I’m sure he has a character portrait somewhere in the game but… 🤷🏾♂️
Anyway, I just happened to catch sight of Loud whilst watching this video on obscure video games. Hurrah.
