It’s been just over a month from the last page, but I had a lot of trouble figuring out what Kuroki’s house would look like. I’ve never seen the interior of a plane’s wheel bay before and they’re way roomier than I initially expected. Whoops. Still, I think I managed to get something decent together. Not as much has progressed on this page as I would’ve liked, but that’s alright. I had envisioned as a scene transitional page anyway.

I’m looking forward to the next part, given Bo’s place finally makes an appearance. The air traffic control tower is based on the one in Sydney Airport, Australia.

Anyway, just two TL Notes this time:

Daft Stuff and Rain: Spoofing the manga and anime, After the Rain, in which a diner employee starts developing feelings for her manager. But is it genuine love, or over-compensation for a promising track-and-field career cut short by an accident?
Can’t Stand the Rain: In reference to the 1973 Ann Peebles song. Funnily enough, I only knew of it as a teenager because it was sampled by Missy Elliott in 1997.
