Anyway, one episode featured alebrijes, which are kind of like brightly-coloured papercraft sculptures of fantastical spirit animal things. A certain Mousecorp used them in a movie and a princess tv series in which the protagonist has a winged flying jaguar one. To my knowledge.
Back on topic, this one is... Botello? Bojero? Bodero? I'm not very good transcribing Latin American name pronounciations. Anyway, he's apparently based on the god of consumption, and yes, did get bigger the more he ate. The protagonists managed to seal him back in his alebrije, but one escaped. The episode is Season 2, Folk-Art Friends.
This was a wind-down piece by doing something colourful after painting buildings all day.
