More Health Updates and Sick Leave
Added 2021-11-18 11:15:27 +0000 UTCSo hi, it's been a bit, huh? Apologies.
To build off of the last post where I talked about my health, today I visited a doctor as a follow-up to the meeting two months ago. I ended up being able to put to words some stuff I previously had never been able to, so that was good. But the tl;dr of that meeting is that I've been officially diagnosed with burnout syndrome, on top of everything else. I'm nowhere near ready to return to work again, so he's extending my sick leave throughout January and possibly February.
Come January, I may be able to try and do a run of Patreon commissions, but they would likely be collab commissions with my wife Emi, similar to the ones I'm still doing my best to complete bit by bit now. I'm making no promises, but that's the plan!
Thank you all for continuing to support me through this. Your help is invaluable right now, and I appreciate you all more than I can say! Once I'm back on my feet again, I'll do my best to get back to making fun stuff for y'all, but for now, I'll be resting as much as I can :>

The sick leave I was put on two months ago was supposed to grant me financial support this whole time, yeah, but something's been messed up in the system and they haven't been able to get me anything yet. We've been making it work so far with Emi's income and a very generous gift from some friends, but it's been pretty tight. We're not in any kind of immediate danger right now, though! We just need to get that financial assistance sorted, whenever that'll happen.
