Frieren Reaction Ep 27-28

Disappointed in Alex for not doing his normal sex jokes when the inn they were staying at was called "swallow inn" such a layup too.😂 , 🤣 when the remark about liking frieren as a kid.. I was screaming internally "retract retract!!!! Now" and Alex did. To clarify some things the anime never fully said outright, Lernen? The old mage guy..is the grandpa of the girl who fought fern in exam 1(not a spoiler btw). The mana thing isnt explained well imo..the size of serie mana is actually restrained size and most don't realize that. So she's far superior in mana than frieren. And Alex is correct in saying they disagree and that creates an annoyance mostly on serie. But serie doesn't wanna gatekeep magic fully, she just didn't want people like frierens attitude to become mages or ranked mages. Since like Alex said, they differ on what magic should be used for and the usefulness of magic. Not for silly things or hobby. I'm sad when people always dislike or hate serie. Mainly cause she was misunderstood in quite a few ways. One being how much she cares and loves all her students. She's just too elf to show it properly. As a misunderstood neurodivergent myself..an older one at that, it connected with me in some ways. Lernen wasnt seriously gonna kill frieren imo. I think he did the preemptive attack to possibly make it easier for her to accept his duel request. Yeah he went about it poorly, but he felt like a failure to his master too. So the sad desperation made him want to achieve something he never had the chance to do and that was to achieve a bigger feat than his era allowed. And to make his master proud of him. Which she already was. She was just sad he couldn't be around longer. To grow more. Lmao about the cleaning spell. True. All that danger for such a spell. Like her master. But it's a convenient spell still. If we think about the blood on clothes ep from earlier in the season. I wonder if people picked up on the lesbian vibes of the two girls in frierens party. I barely did,but many said it was the intent. Idk. And yeah ubel is kind of crazy. But she also hot. She started imo..the armpit craze. Which I suppose is the new feet craze of attraction. Idk. But I ain't mad at it. This is my favorite anime of all time. Recency bias a little, but compared to the hoarde of anime I've watched over many years, I can confidently say it's my number 1. Voicing English and translation subs ..really change perspective. Cause the things or tones I picked up on sub is a decent amount different than that of the English va. Not a bad dub, but interesting to me still.
