Added 2023-06-25 01:34:47 +0000 UTCNeed to get back into doing these! Decided to do my own pick this time. I just saw Across the Spider-verse movie for the second time las night. I love, love, LOVE this film—especially the extended Gwen-centric opening. I don’t know much about Spider-Gwen or Ghost Spider as she’s known in the main MCU outside of these films and the Marvel Rising animated specials, but I think I need to seek out some of the comics.

Added to the (formerly empty) suggestion bin! Sadly my disgust for how DC has been handling their media properties lately combined by my discomfort with supporting Ezra Miller at this point are keeping me from seeing that film in the theaters (and from what I'm hearing I don't regret that choice) but the two reasons I would watch it are Keaton as Batman and the new Supergirl. The latter I've been hearing great things about in particular.
