I'm just glad it won't be hindering in any way... depending on what happens next, of course. You know how capes always get in the way, snagged on something or bunched up and such... It's good to toss it over in the corner and see how this scene progresses! Who knows, perhaps it will come in handy again at the end of the scene, if Evie later finds herself in need of a wrap?
