Not bad episode cool and a fun watch

2025-08-27 04:29:42 +0000 UTCI generally liked this episode. The storyline with Lionel reminded me of 'Misery' and was really well done. His acting is always fantastic and I'm happy he's back. I was kind of shocked that it was Lana that orchestrated it all, but it was really interesting character development for her in my opinion. You don't come out of everything she's been through unscathed mentally and I kind of get sick of seeing the same thing over and over again with regards to Lana anyway. I really disliked the beginning though... When Chloe is talking to Clark about dating, clearly upset over the break-up, he completely ignores it, doesn't even respond regarding what she said. Then when she changes the subject to having made up Kara's fake identity, he shows interest again and responds. I know that isn't really a big deal, but it just irritated me and is a continuation of the general feeling I get from the show regarding Clark being selfish when it comes to anything to do with Chloe. Also, when Clark saves the actress from the car crash, he has her in his arms and she is unconscious, but she suddenly/quickly wakes up and says "So you just totally saved my life. You're amazing." It was just weird and sounded airheaded. I didn't really like the first half of that storyline, but I thought the guy that was behind everything played crazy really well and was believable. The MySpace reference was a blast from the past... Time to go check to see if it still exists.
