Montly Raffle FAQ
Added 2015-03-13 16:23:56 +0000 UTCJust wanted to answer some of the questions that have arisen in response to the monthly raffle. This is all kind of new to me so I am going to try and work things out as best I can going in, but these answers may all be subject to change depending on how things go: 1. How are winners decided? By way of a random number generator where all the names of donators that qualify are listed. After that I will send out messages to the winners. I am currently going to try and have three winners a month, but this is subject to change depending on my work load and how it goes. 2. What are the restrictions? One picture per winner, obviously, and if it's content I'm uncomfortable with I might have to turn it down. For the time being I'm not going to put any style or character count restrictions on the raffle. This may change as I fine tune details. Keep in mind that the more difficult or complex your request is, the longer it will take me to complete it and the greater a likelihood that it may not turn out to anyone's liking. I'll be making them a priority as well, which means that if someone gives me particularly tricky request, that's going to mean less art overall for everyone as so much of my time and energy will be devoted to that. 3. Where is my art? Once a sketch is completed it will be first shared with the winner in the form of a private link in a message to clear it with them and make sure they're satisfied. Then the sketch will be posted to the Patreon as a part of my Sketch Book. After that, I'll do any inking or coloring that is required and upload the finished pieces to my Patreon as well. There will be no private winners. Some select finished pieces may be uploaded to my Deviantart page as well, as a means of advertising for the Patreon . Hopefully that covers all the major questions. If not, add a comment here and I will try to respond as best I can.
