I let you pick what video I make next, and you delivered!
I've seen this meme posted in various places for years now. And it's a funny image on its own, but its also something I find myself agreeing with wholeheartedly. Many games are too long/crammed with stuff. They focus too much on bleeding edge graphics. They overwork their developers. And they don't pay them enough.
Now these are all massive problems that have long videos made about each of them separately. There are obviously no simple solutions for most of them (*cough* unionization *cough*). But I wanted to talk a little bit about why this sentiment is only growing more common among many fans of video games like myself.
It's really just going to be a rant video more than anything. Probably less research/problem focused than even my remakes video. But I want to try and accurately summarize the frustration people have towards the AAA games industry at the very least.
