There are a few series that bridge the gap between movies 1 and 2; Riders of Berk (Peacock), Defenders of Berk (Peacock), and Race to the Edge (Netflix). I never watched Riders or Defenders, but my oldest was really into Race to Edge. Riders and Defenders are each a season long and Race has 6 seasons and it ends not too long before the 2nd movie begins.
