Bluey S2E44-47 Watch A Long

Hey Peaches! We're at the tail end of season 2, and we've reached the episode most have been waiting for. But before Jay get the reassurance y'all want to see , we get the second part of Duck Cake. Bluey gets her helicopter license, and Chloe learns how to play games with her dad.

So the thing about Helicopter is that Bluey learns to deal with unexpected change (like her playdate getting canceled). All of her passengers (except maybe Snickers?) want her to alter the game in some way. She's initially resistant, like with Winton, but gradually learns to roll with it eventually completely changing the parameters of the game (it's now an airplane) to accommodate Indy.

One of my favorite things is that throughout we also get baby Bluey’s perspective. Just her little reaching arms. Whether you make mistakes, whether you’re anxious about your child’s development or your performance as a parent, the one thing you have that nobody else does is *your* child. The child that wants you more than anything. The child you’re so proud of and love so much. They want you, not somebody else. I think that’s something powerful to remember when we get down on ourselves.

Multiple thoughts here. For Handstand, I will always be livid that no one paid attention to Bingo other than Nana AT HER OWN BIRTHDAY PARTY. I get that kids are easily distracted, but everyone ignoring the birthday girl at her own party just sucks. I love Baby Race, but I feel like Octopus is just as validating for all the reasons y'all talked about. It's brutal to put them back to back lol.

The camera change to Chili's POV to "You're doing great" is just such an incredible double barreled shotgun to the soul, PERFECT film making

As for the party pies, we just don't do sweet pies at all really, party pies are by default beef and gravy

I totally understand what you mean about your son talking, Jay, and I also know in my head that they just come to it in their own time. It’s hard to see people not understand my son, though. He’s never spoken as well as our older child, who was talking very clearly by 2, and now he’s almost 4 and only just started really talking in a way that people other than me can understand most of it. A lot of it is his articulation, and he had some extra challenges, (ear tubes and lip tie and Covid masking). It just took him a little longer, in particular because he also just focuses his energy on other things, like building and climbing, lol. It’ll come though ❤️ and it’s really fun when it does and suddenly they’re talking your ear off.
