Arcane S2E09 Watch A Long

Hey Peaches! The final battle for Piltover is here. Ambessa and Victor storm the city in the hopes of capturing HexTech. Can Jayce, Mel, Caitlyn, Ekko, Vi and Jinx save the day and put a stop to this cycle of violence?

I think it needed another season. Now that Im rewatching I feel like it was good but with more room to flesh some things out (like esp the black rose stuff) it would have felt better.

Also, the Crow at the end belongs to a champ in league of Legends from Noxus. Maybe Noxus will be the main land for new show?

I'd like to think that at the last moment realizing the explosion was going to happen Vander's last remaining humanity realized it and threw Jinx into the vents... hehe :)

I just think it's funny that I didn't watch season 1 thinking Viktor was going to end up being the big bad, lol. I just those who knew his LoL Character probably guessed it would go that way. I'm just glad Viktor and Jayce got their fun gay ending.

Also, I feel now that we see the end, the echo alternate episode shows why it was worth the diversion... not only did it give you happy scenes with all those characters so you are all the more invested in their safety. It gave Echo a real honest motivation to forgive Jinx and Jinx seeing that she essentially helped create the tool Echo was using to save her (seeing that she had included the monkeys in the device) as well as giving essentially an alternate dimension version of the same anomaly which, like matter and anti-matter when they collided caused an explosion from the paradox of both of them existing in the same space... There was a lot more that it helped establish and/or enhance but I think in the end it satisfied my questions as to why they took that side trek with so little time left.

I think the thing that makes the Ambessa ending work is that she used both the sorceress and her mother essentially as bait for each other so she could destroy them both at once. :)

Whilst i did wish some more things were fleshed out, I think I read that it was originally meant to be a lot longer of an episode, I am happy overall with it. The animation was amazing and the Viktor & Jayce story was beautiful. A lot is up in the air but as you said they are doing other stuff in this world. Mel was amazing as always and Ekko the GOAT! my poor boy is alone, he left the universe with everything he could want to save his own, left Powder and yet still lost Jinx. The parallel of him sitting alone in the spot they kissed always kills me.

In an earlier episode when she was a kid, Jinx once said she'd be on a ship like that one of those days. Between that and Caitlyn looking at the air ventilation system, it feels like Jinx is off to her new life to "end the cycle." Also, I've watched gay porn that wasn't as gay as that final scene between Viktor and Jayce. Loved it.

Taken For Pomegranted

Jay is right! Caitlyn was holding the monkey bomb Jinx used in her fall and looking at the air vents. Implying that she lived and decided to walk away like she wanted to, just this time it was literal not a suicide metaphor. Also the airship is exactly like the one that powder says she is gonna ride one day in the 1st episode of season 1!

They're actually changing Viktor's look in the game to what he looks like in the show. The "Arcane-verse" or whatever they wanna call it is also a method for them to rewrite lore for a lot of characters in game. Viktor looks much more robotic currently, but he's getting updated next month to his in-show appearance and his kit is getting tweaked to match it too.
